Athens Running Company coming to Wire Park

Today we welcome @athensrun to the Wire Park family!

In 2010 Athens Running Co. opened it's doors with the mission to be a local source for quality shoes. Everyone's feet are different which means it takes experience to professionally fit those feet in walking, running, gym, and lifestyle shoes. Proper fitting shoes can help prevent injuries and increase comfort.

Athens Running Co. is unique compared to many other shoe stores because of the tools they use to fit their clients - including a 3D foot scanner, a treadmill with video gait analysis, and most importantly their employees who have extensive training.

Their owner, Mark Schroeder, said this about their philosophy and their reason for coming to Wire Park:

"We think of shoes as equipment and not apparel because we want to keep the only pair of feet you get in life healthy. Happy feet, happy life!

We are opening a new location in Wire Park to be able to provide more people with access to quality footwear. Watkinsville is a beautiful town with amazing people and we are looking forward to being a part of it."
