New Additions To Wire Park: Oconee Eye and Thunderfoot Studio

Recently, Wire Park has welcomed two new additions!

The first is Oconee Eye, a locally owned practice dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care for families and individuals. Led by board-certified optometrist Dr. Taylor Ficek, Oconee Eye is a trusted provider in the local community. Dr. Ficek earned her Doctorate of Optometry with honors from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, after completing dual degrees in Nutrition Sciences and Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Following her clinical rotations, Dr. Ficek put down roots in Watkinsville and quickly fell in love with the area and its charming community. Committed to personalized, high-quality care, Dr. Ficek and her team at Oconee Eye are proud to serve as trusted partners in the community’s eye health.

The second new addition is Thunderfoot Studio, a creative production space built on the belief that art should be accessible, collaborative, and fun. Thunderfoot is home to filmmakers, artists, makers, educators, and teams looking to bring bold ideas to life. Whether producing a short film, designing a product, or learning a new creative tool, Thunderfoot provides the support you need. Services include studio rentals, equipment access such as cameras and lighting, and maker tools like 3D printers, laser engravers, and T-shirt presses. Thunderfoot Studio also offers team-building experiences and the Creators Club, which is a great way to connect with other creatives.

With these new businesses, Wire Park continues to grow as a vibrant destination for health, creativity, and community.
