Mixed-use project planned for defunct Southwire Plant

Vacant for about a decade, the 211,600-square-foot Southwire Plant off Barnett Shoals Road is about to make a comeback. 

In December, Southwire Company sold 66 acres of the site, including the warehouse, to Wire Park LLC for $3.115 million.
